The roots of our production philosophy trace back to the carpentry workshop established by our first-generation representative, İsmail Ayçenk, in Istanbul in 1930. Shaped by embassy and public projects undertaken during the early years of the young Republic, this era constitutes the genetic heritage of the material precision and master-apprentice discipline that Demsaş possesses today.
Our modern corporate story began in 1975 when the second generation completed their engineering education in Germany and brought their vision back to Turkey. With advanced technology production lines imported from Europe, traditional woodworking was integrated with millimeter-level machine precision. In this new era, comprehensive wooden decoration works tailored for villas, mansions, and luxury hotel projects became the main focus. Aiming for project-specific perfection rather than mass production, this engineering breakthrough evolved into a formal corporate structure in 1981 with the registration of the name Demsaş, an acronym for Dekorasyon Mobilya Sanayi Şirketi (Decoration Furniture Industry Company).
Following our pioneering steps that introduced modular systems to Turkey in the 1980s, we shifted our production focus entirely toward kitchen and bathroom architecture.
Today, guided by the vision of the third generation, Demsaş carries the craftsmanship culture inherited from the 1930s into the present through continuous aesthetic and technical research.
